There’s a rumor floating around that the Transformer Prime isn’t the only Ice Cream Sandwich tablet to come out this holiday season. That’s right, Lenovo is looking to get a release of a 10.1 inch quad-core tablet with Android 4.0 on top of it, powered by the new Tegra 3 processor.
The Tegra 3 sure a powerful quad-core engine at the core of this powerful device. Besides, Lenovo there are rumors that the 2GB RAM inside it will be LPDDR3 type- Announced previously by Samsung as the Low Power DDR3 RAM, which is amazingly clocked at 1600Mhz. For more interesting facts it is rumored to have a whopping 1920×1200 resolution which put’s it ahead of a number of present Android Tablets. The massive 1920×1200 resolution (WUXGA), wich is about twice the pixels we’ve seen on tablet devices so far.
Now whats really unique, is that the tablet is said to be having a fingerprint reader, just the way Lenovo’s Thinkpads are used to it.
The new tablet is yet to be named and we have no info on the dimensions or the weight either, but you can bet it’ll be a bit smaller than the IdeaPad K1.
Stay put, when we get more info, we’ll let you know.
