[Guide] Install WhatsApp Messenger In iPod Touch And iPad.

whatsapp-messanger-downloadI am sure that you all are aware of WhatsApp messenger. If Not, WhatsApp Messenger lets you Send Instant Messages literally free of cost to other WhatsApp users. Each chat is so small that even the slowest net is enough. WhatsApp cannot be installed on iPod Touch and iPad because its not compatible with it.

To Install WhatsApp On Your iPod Touch or iPad, you need certain softwares:
1. iTunes 10 or 11 (We Tested This On iTunes 10)
2. iPhone Configuration Utility
And You’re Ready To Go:
1. Open your iTunes and looks for WhatsApp in Apps section of iTunes.

2. Install and open the iPhone Configuration utility before that make sure you connected your iDevice on Windows PC or Mac.

3. Check on the left panel on iPhone configuration utility.

Click on application, Add file and locate the .ipa file you want to add or simply drag and drop the .ipa file to iPhone configuration utility

You can Locate the .ipa at the following path:

For Mac user

/Music/iTunes/iTunes Media/Mobile Application

For Windows user

C:\Users\USER\Music\iTunes\iTunes Media\Mobile Applications

Note : The paths mentioned above are default ones, if you changed the path them check the .ipa file there.

4. Check for Devices on the left panel on iPhone configuration utility and make sure your iDevice is listed.

Click on your device and go to application. A list of applications will will shown and in our case you can see Install button next to WhatsApp. Click on it and allow a few seconds(why not empty that bladder?)

Give it some time it will be installed on your deice and you will see the uninstall button next to the app installed.

Note: This method may not work in some newer iDevices. If You have a Jailbroken iDevice, install WhatsPad from the BigBoss Repo(pre-installed)

[Guide] Convert Any iPhone or iPod game to 2x without changing graphics

The iPad can run iPhone apps in compatibility mode, and we all know Apple implemented this feature to allow iPad owners to access a huge catlogue of apps on day one. The fact that the iPad App Store got to more than 90,000 apps in a few months is a different story. What is not great about iPhone compatibility mode is that, when an iPhone app is blown up to, the graphics become fuzzy. Even if you’ve installed on your iPad an app that’s got Retina Display-ready graphics on the iPhone, you’ll get the pixelated graphics.
We at Technologic101 found a great Tweak in the Hackmyiphone and insanelyi repo for FREE.

RetinaPad, a new Cydia tweak by Ryan Petrich, works great with basically any app or game that’s got Retina graphics. Once installed, you’ll have to choose the iPhone apps that you’d like to run with the new 2x mode. Fire up the app, tap on 2x and you’ll notice that the iPad will display clean graphics without pixelation. If the iPhone app has been updated for the Retina Display, it most likely works with RetinaPad out of the box. It’s really neat.There is apparently another Tweak called Fullforse which does the same thing but costs 2$.

[Guide] How To Close All Running Apps With Just A Swipe

Many of us waste time in closing running apps everyday. Double-Clicking Home Button, Pressing Icons and then Closing Them takes a lot of time if you have a lot of apps running.

So, I present a solution to all those people who waste their time in closing these apps or people who have a broken home button.

The name of the Tweak is SwipeAway and is available in the ModMyi repository(http//:apt.modmyi.com/). BTW ModMyi Repo is added in your Cydia by default.

As easily understood by the name of tweak, SwipeAway is a new app for jailbroken iOS devices that allows you to close all applications running in the background with a simple swipe gesture.

SwipeAway closes all applications running in the background on your iPhone in just couple of seconds. How to do it? Simply select a specific activation gesture between those made available in Settings: Swipe up or down, to close all applications.

SwipeAway also closes the apps backgrounded by BackGrounder.

So,give it a try and keep swinging.

[Guide] Take Gaming To The Next Level On your iPod,iPhone or iPad

All of us are pretty much satisfied with the gaming experience on our iDevices.Games like Temple Run, Angry Birds, Subway Surfer and others have made having iDevices enjoyable.Still, the Gaming on iPods and iPads is still not comparable to our good old PCs.

Quake 3 is one of the most popular first person shooters in the world. It kind of revolutionized FPS games. And now it has made its way to jailbroken iPhone and iPod Touch via Cydia. Obviously, this game can’t be played as well on iDevices as on a PC, but never the less, it’s available, and that counts for something.

To get Quake 3 –

1. Go To Cydia.(You Must Be Jailbroken)
2. Just Type Quake in the search box.
3. Download Quake 3 arena.. Size is about 45 MB
The game was ported on all iDevices.

The Game is still undergoing Development but it is still playable.

[News] Apple Sends Out Invites For October 23rd iPad Mini Event

Apple is finally seems to be ready to show off a new iPad mini to the world, according to invites sent out to members of the media today. The invitations are likely for the unveiling of a smaller tablet device, set for announcement at an October 23 in San Jose at the California Theater at a 10 AM PT event.

The iPad mini is rumored to have a number of different characteristics, including an aluminum design with two color options like the latest iPhone 5, cellular network connectivity, a display that may not provide true Retina resolution in order to keep costs down, and an estimated delivery date of late October or early November. There are also rumors that Apple will introduce a slightly refreshed full-sized iPad at this event, with a Lightning dock connector and slightly improved specs. Price will be the big wildcard here, for the iPad mini especially: estimates range from as low as $249 to around $399 as a starting price for the new tablet.
